经济事务与气候政策部已将其2020年SDE+（大规模可再生能源补助）计划的春季拍卖轮次的总预算从20亿欧元增加到40亿欧元。
经济事务大臣Eric Wiebes在致荷兰议会的一封信函中表示：“上一轮拍卖的结果表明，有大量项目可以在相对短期内做出具有成本效益的贡献，从而深化能源转型的可持续性。通过增加春季这轮拍卖的预算，我们可以在短期内实现大部分具有较短落地时间的可行项目，比如太阳能项目。”
Wiebes表示，上轮拍卖中被排除在外的几个项目现在将有机会在下一轮获得合同，而这也是SDE+计划的最后一轮。
之前荷兰政府准备提供50亿欧元补贴，但收到的申请总计达90.6亿欧元。已经有容量总计为6.22吉瓦的共7,525个可再生能源项目的开发商提交了秋季拍卖的补贴申请。 Wiebes曾在去年12月表示，2019年SDE+计划的秋季拍卖轮次中首次纳入了“输电指征”，借助电网接入限制取消了该国部分地区的补贴。
当时Wiebes认为：“因此，这一轮补贴表明输电指征并未对申请数量产生抑制作用。相比之下，电网运营商对各个地区仍在筹备中的项目数量有了更好的了解，而市场各方更熟悉电网中存在空间的地点。” 1月，荷兰输电系统运营商Enexis提出不同意见：容量限制阻碍了格罗宁根、德伦特和上艾瑟尔省新的太阳能项目的部署。几个月前，Energie-Nederland、Holland Solar和荷兰风能协会均表示，如果北部地区电网拥堵得不到恰当的解决，大约700兆瓦的太阳能和风能项目将错过SDE+大规模可再生能源激励措施。
