据新闻稿披露，总部位于维也纳的独立电力生产商Renalfa旗下一家未具名的公司，将成为该电池储能系统（BESS）的所有者。投资者决定将电池安装在现有33 MWp容量的光伏电站内部。
该阵列将包括一个光伏追踪器安装系统和一个变电站。
根据国际可再生能源署（IRENA）最近公布的统计数据，到2022年底，保加利亚的太阳能光伏装机容量为1,948 MW。上个月，保加利亚政府启动了首个可再生能源项目，预计将分配超过1,400 MW的发电容量和超过350 MW的储能容量。
