不丹能源与自然资源部近日宣布，全国首座公用事业级太阳能电站——Sephu光伏项目正式落成启用，标志着该国在清洁能源多元化道路上迈出关键一步。
该项目位于不丹中部旺度波德朗县（Wangdue Phodrang）的Sephu镇，占地约44英亩（17公顷）国家土地。项目首阶段已建成17.38兆瓦（MW）装机容量，第二阶段将再新增5兆瓦，预计于今年晚些时候完工。
Sephu项目的工程、采购与施工由不丹本地建筑公司M/S Rigsar与印度工程企业PES联合组成的合资企业负责执行。该项目最初于2022年启动招标，并于2023年授标。
项目建设资金来自亚洲开发银行提供的贷款与赠款，以及不丹王国政府的资金支持。能源部在社交媒体发布声明称，该项目是推动国家能源结构转型、增强能源系统韧性、应对气候变化挑战的重要举措。
不丹今年初发布的国家能源政策提出，到2040年实现可再生能源装机总量达到25吉瓦（GW）的目标，其中水电15GW，太阳能5GW。
据国际可再生能源署（IRENA）数据显示，截至2024年底，不丹累计部署3兆瓦太阳能装机，较2023年底的1兆瓦大幅提升。
此外，今年3月，印度拉贾斯坦邦由Juniper Green Energy开发的100兆瓦光伏项目已正式并网，该项目计划通过跨境电力交易协议向不丹输电，进一步补充其绿色能源供应。
