埃及、中国、巴林及阿联酋的投资者将在埃及共同建设一座大型光伏全产业链综合园区，相关土地使用权合同已签署。
Atom Solar Egypt综合园区计划建设2GW太阳能电池、2GW组件及1GWh储能设施，占地超过20万平方米，位于苏伊士运河经济区苏赫奈工业区。
签约仪式在埃及总理穆斯塔法·马德布利（Mostafa Madbouly）出席下举行。据埃及国家信息服务中心（SIS）介绍，该项目总投资2.2亿美元，由埃及AH公司、中国晶澳太阳能、阿联酋Global South Utilities及巴林Infinity Capital共同出资。
SIS称，电池工厂产品将出口至全球市场，以填补日益扩大的进口缺口，组件工厂则将为埃及本土及中东、非洲市场供货。
项目将逐步提升本地化率，优先从埃及采购铝材和玻璃等材料。
建设及试运营周期为三年，预计可提供841个直接就业岗位。
2024年11月，《光伏杂志》曾报道，晶澳太阳能计划在Global South Utilities支持下在埃及建造2GW电池和组件工厂。
2025年6月，中国光伏企业尚锐光能也已在埃及苏赫奈工业区开建光伏制造综合体一期工程，包括两家分别具备2GW电池和2GW组件产能的工厂。
