光伏技术制造商梅耶博格集团表示，公司已放弃作为整体企业重组求生的计划，并称难以获得投资者的拯救。同时，公司还出售了其美国工厂的机器和设备。
这一消息几乎宣告了梅耶博格在美国制造业务的最后希望破灭。
这家瑞士公司出售了价值近2900万美元的工厂设备，涉及亚利桑那州固特异市一座年产能1.4吉瓦的组件工厂，以及科罗拉多州科罗拉多斯普林斯市一项已终止的2吉瓦电池工厂建设项目。
梅耶博格已于今年5月将亚利桑那工厂停产，并裁员近300人。2024年8月，公司正式终止了科罗拉多工厂的计划，该厂原预计雇佣超过350名工人。
公司公告称，此次资产出售总额为2900万美元，其中Waaree Solar Americas Inc.收购了组件生产设备，Babacomari Solar North LLC收购了电池生产设备。但公告未披露各自的具体成交价。
另据在线新闻平台USA Herald报道，Waaree以1850万美元现金竞标，而Babacomari则以1020万美元的信用额度竞标。
今年4月，总部位于印度的Waaree宣布将在德克萨斯州布鲁克郡将组件产能从1.6吉瓦翻倍至3.2吉瓦。
外界对Babacomari的设备用途则毫无头绪，不清楚其将把设备用于何处，也不清楚该公司是否具备光伏制造经验。相关联络信息亦极为有限。
Babacomari曾是美国与墨西哥边境附近亚利桑那州科奇斯县一座160兆瓦光伏电站项目的备案开发商，该项目原计划于2026年1月1日完工。
