由太阳能领域先驱、澳大利亚新南威尔士大学校友 施正荣 创立的 上迈集团（Sunman Group） 宣布，将在猎人谷建设澳大利亚最大规模的太阳能组件制造厂。该项目已获得联邦和州政府合计 1.71亿澳元（约合1.12亿美元） 的资金支持。
澳大利亚可再生能源署（ARENA）通过联邦政府 10亿澳元“Solar Sunshot”计划 提供最高 1.51亿澳元 的有条件资金支持，新南威尔士州政府则出资 2000万澳元。
上迈集团目前拥有两家制造基地：一座位于中国的 1GW工厂，以及一座正在美国建设中的 500MW工厂。此次在猎人谷（Maitland附近的Black Hill）规划的新工厂将采用上迈成熟的轻质光伏技术，每年生产 500MW太阳能组件，供澳大利亚及国际市场使用。工厂初期产能为 300MW，后期将扩产至 500MW。
“建成后，猎人谷太阳能铸造厂将成为澳大利亚最大的光伏组件制造商，也是新南威尔士州唯一的组件工厂，为全国住宅、商用及大型客户提供领先产品。”施正荣表示。
目前，澳大利亚仅有 Tindo Solar 被公认为本地组件制造商。该公司位于阿德莱德北部的Mawson Lakes工厂正在扩产，年产能将从 20MW 提升至 180MW，并计划建设年产 1GW 的新厂。
上迈猎人谷项目将生产多种太阳能组件，包括公司自主研发的 eArc复合薄膜模块（Architecture Ready Composite）。该产品以耐用聚合物替代传统玻璃，重量减轻70%，可弯曲、粘贴于多种表面。
工厂还将生产玻璃组件，建设太阳能创新中心，推动新型太阳能技术的商业化应用，并为其他品牌提供OEM产能，以强化澳大利亚本土太阳能供应链。
施正荣表示：“这是澳大利亚能源转型的重要里程碑。建立本地组件制造一直是我的夙愿，希望这一基地能成为澳大利亚垂直一体化光伏产业链的起点。”
ARENA首席执行官 Darren Miller 称，该工厂将增强澳大利亚光伏制造能力，降低对进口的依赖，并扩大澳大利亚在全球清洁能源供应链中的作用。“规模化部署光伏是实现长期减排目标的核心，”他说，“发展制造业能力可确保供应链韧性，并推动澳大利亚创新加速落地。”
工厂建设预计将创造 200个建设岗位 和 100个长期工作岗位。此前，上迈集团旗下子公司 Energus 还获得 130万澳元 的Sunshot资金，用于在猎人谷开展年产 5万吨太阳能级多晶硅 工厂可行性研究，评估其技术、商业与环境可行性。
