随着此前招标所对应的合同期限陆续到期，2026年英国将有创纪录数量的光伏电站在差价合约（CfD）支持下并网运行。在最近一轮招标中，光伏获得的合同数量超过任何其他发电技术。
根据英国政府截至2025年11月底发布的最新数据，目前已有19座获得CfD支持的光伏电站投入运行，其中17座于2025年并网，包括装机容量373兆瓦的Cleve Hill太阳能园区——这是迄今为止英国规模最大的光伏电站。未来12个月内，这一数量有望增加一倍以上。
面向公众的CfD登记册显示，目前还有26个尚未投运的光伏项目，其最晚投运期限（即项目必须完成并网的最终日期）均落在2026年。这些项目对应的已签约装机容量合计约790兆瓦。
在过去三轮英国CfD分配中，光伏项目在电站数量方面均位居各类发电技术之首，尽管在装机容量层面，风电仍占据主导。英国低碳合同公司（LCCC）于2025年12月发布的最新投资报告显示，自英国CfD机制启动以来，光伏项目累计获得199份合同，高于陆上与海上风电合计的123份。
几乎所有光伏CfD合同均来自第四、第五和第六轮分配。目前，第七轮CfD分配正在进行中，英国政府仍需锁定相当规模的新增容量，以实现2030年的部署目标。
根据LCCC的报告，获得CfD支持的英国光伏项目在投资结构上呈现出多元化特征：40%由私营企业持有，38%由基础设施和投资基金持有，22%由项目开发商持有。LCCC抽样的项目中未发现任何国有持股。
