秘鲁能源与矿业部（MINEM）表示，2025年秘鲁在太阳能、水电和火电领域合计投运超过700兆瓦的新发电装机容量。
其中，光伏发电占据新增装机的最大比重。MINEM称，年内有两座大型太阳能电站投入运行，合计向国家互联系统（SEIN）新增456.4兆瓦装机，总投资额为3.06亿美元。
相关项目包括位于阿雷基帕大区拉霍亚的252.4兆瓦San Martín太阳能电站，该项目于6月投运；以及Sunny太阳能电站一期项目，装机容量204兆瓦，于10月并网。Sunny项目二期预计将于2026年完成，总装机容量届时将提升至325兆瓦。
2025年水电新增装机容量合计231兆瓦，来自三个项目，总投资约5.15亿美元。MINEM重点提到位于普诺大区卡拉巴亚省的209.3兆瓦San Gabán III水电站，该项目于5月投入运行。
其余水电装机来自胡宁大区昌查马约省的20兆瓦Anashironi电站（7月投运）以及同样位于卡拉巴亚省的2.2兆瓦Tupurí电站（2月投运）。
火电方面，新增装机仅包括29.8兆瓦Agrolmos电站，该项目于8月投入运行，位于兰巴耶克大区奥尔莫斯区，投资额为620万美元。
MINEM在7月表示，San Martín太阳能电站投运后，秘鲁累计光伏装机容量提升至748兆瓦。随着Sunny太阳能项目的并入，当前全国累计光伏装机容量约为952兆瓦。上述数据不包括分布式发电和离网太阳能系统，这些领域在秘鲁仍较为有限。
此前在4月，MINEM曾表示，开发商计划在2028年前建设14个新增太阳能项目，总装机容量约2.5吉瓦，均将接入SEIN系统。若这些计划顺利推进，秘鲁的光伏装机容量到2028年将至少达到2.98吉瓦。
