2025年12月澳大利亚新增屋顶光伏装机容量为224 MW，与近年来水平相当。然而，SunWiz警告，不应将12月数据外推至全年趋势。
系统平均规模也出现下降，扭转此前连续四个月的增长趋势。平均规模从12月超过11.5 kW降至1月的10.83 kW，反映出大型系统收缩更为明显。
按规模划分，50 kW至70 kW区间降幅最大，下降57%。小型住宅系统下降24%，共同导致平均系统规模整体下降。
所有州和领地均出现环比下降。维多利亚州降幅最小，为19%；其次为西澳22%，首都领地34%；昆士兰下降35%；南澳和新南威尔士均下降37%；塔斯马尼亚下降38%；北领地下降69%，不过当地平均系统规模仍保持较高水平。
SunWiz表示，中等规模系统下降最为明显：10 kW至15 kW区间装机降至82 MW，8 kW至10 kW区间降至23 MW。6 kW至8 kW区间保持37 MW不变，而按规模排名前三的区间环比保持稳定。
