United Solar近期已在阿曼索哈尔自由区启动其多晶硅工厂的生产。该设施设计年产能约为10万吨。项目合作方表示，在全面达产后，该工厂每年可提供足够材料以支持约40吉瓦太阳能组件的生产。
阿曼项目已吸引大量国际融资。今年早些时候，United Solar获得超过9亿美元债务融资，其中包括国际金融公司（IFC）及合作贷款机构牵头提供的4.8亿美元贷款，同时还获得来自区域银行的额外融资以及阿曼投资局旗下Future Fund Oman的投资。
