印尼国有电力公司PLN已启动一项总装机容量为1225兆瓦的太阳能项目招标。
Mentari Nusantara I太阳能项目将分布在印尼多个地区开发，其中苏门答腊规划35兆瓦，加里曼丹340兆瓦，爪哇600兆瓦，苏拉威西50兆瓦，西努沙登加拉80兆瓦，马鲁古和巴布亚合计120兆瓦。
此次招标通过名为“Giga One”的一体化采购机制进行。PLN表示，该机制通过将多个项目打包为一个整体方案，能够提升规模经济效应，并为投资者提供可量化的项目确定性。
PLN于上周，即4月30日，正式启动招标流程。该公司尚未公布投标截止日期，但已将相关项目的目标商业投运时间设定为2029年。
PLN项目管理与新能源和可再生能源总监Suroso Isnandar表示，Mentari Nusantara项目是支撑印尼政府建设100吉瓦太阳能目标的重要初始驱动力。
Isnandar还表示，Giga One是“印尼可再生能源采购的新蓝图，也是国家能源转型进程中的一个重要里程碑”，并称这一采购策略未来还将复制到水电、风电和电池储能系统招标中。
今年早些时候，印尼基本服务改革研究所（Institute for Essential Services Reform）与印尼经济事务统筹部联合发布了一项研究，探讨印尼如何实现100吉瓦太阳能目标。其中包括80吉瓦分布式、小型太阳能系统，以及20吉瓦集中式太阳能。
印尼去年太阳能装机已突破1吉瓦，总装机达到1.49吉瓦。
