Grira相信，本次招标的结果可能会影响这一地区的可再生能源战略。这一价格可能会被这些海湾国家当成一个标杆，使光伏项目比其他可再生能源更具吸引力和可行性。可能会让这些国家增加光伏的部署而减少其他可再生能源的部署，特别是需要更多合适土地的风能。
