阿特斯阳光电力公司（Canadian Solar Inc.）表示，已与公司首席执行官、董事长及公司最大股东瞿晓铧博士（Shawn Qu），和它几位未具名的潜在股权合伙人，就公司私有化计划达成了协议。
在向美国证券交易委员会(SEC)提交的文件中，阿特斯表示，瞿晓铧博士已经聘请了财务顾问，目前正在与潜在的股权合作伙伴和债务融资来源方进行探讨。
“公司已经与瞿博士和几个潜在股权合伙人签订了保密和停顿协议，并且向他们提供了有关公司的信息。特别委员会已授权瞿博士和潜在股东在9月底前完成对公司的尽职调查。”阿特斯在声明中如此写道。
上周，在美国投资公司Lion Point Capital表示它已开始与一些第三方就私有化融资的可能性展开讨论后，阿特斯股价飙升。在向SEC提交的另一份文件中，该公司表示愿意提供高达2.5亿美元支持竞购，此外还将提供进一步的资金，以便在必要时提高拟收购股的每股价格。
另外，阿特斯公司表示，它已经以115亿日元（1.031亿美元）的价格向阿特斯太阳能基础设施基金（Canadian Solar Infrastructure Fund, Inc.）出售了三家光伏发电厂，总计30.4兆瓦。此次出售使该基金公司的光伏容量从75.2兆瓦提高到105.6兆瓦。这三个项目分别位于鸟取和岐阜县，所发电力的上网电价分别为20年期的JPY40/KWH、JPY32/KWH 和 JPY32/KWH。
