太阳能废弃物回收组织PV Cycle去年在法国共回收280,000多块报废光伏面板。PV Cycle透露，其中约95%将在法国南部罗讷河口省Rousset的Triade Électronique工厂进行加工。
这家工厂由法国环境服务提供商威立雅（Veolia）旗下的一个部门负责运营。该部门专门处理废弃电子电气设备。收集来的面板会被磨碎并分成玻璃、硅、塑料和铜。
PV Cycle表示，自2015年开始认真地回收太阳能废弃物以来，他们每年收集的数量已增加了13倍以上。该组织补充说，预计到2030年时收集数量将达到50,000吨。
扩张计划
为了应对预期的增长，PV Cycle计划在短期和中期开放更多的处理装置。这家回收机构表示，正在法国探索第二种处理装置的选择方案。
PV Cycle France由法国太阳能业界于2014年组织成立。它由法国能源巨头EDF的ENR Solaire和ENR PWT部门、瑞士太阳能项目开发商Urbasolar、奥地利Recom拥有的Sillia VL组件制造业务、法国组件制造商Voltec Solar，以及可再生能源贸易机构Syndicat des Energies Renouvelables进行管理。 欧盟已经推出了针对光伏的废弃物法规，要求所有向欧盟市场提供组件的面板生产商出资覆盖收集和回收报废产品的成本。
2018年10月，由来自9个欧盟国家的11家公司和5个研究机构组成的联盟发布了调查结果，表明光伏组件的报废管理和回收极具经济性。
