据印度多家媒体报道，印度工业集团信实工业计划收购挪威太阳能组件制造商REC solar，该公司是中国化工集团公司（ChemChina）的下属公司。
《今日商业》杂志报道称，该印度集团准备支付10至12亿美元收购REC Solar。该新闻机构称，信实工业已与几家未具名的贷款机构进行会谈，为此次交易争取5至6亿美元的资金支持。
REC Solar的一位发言人告诉《光伏》杂志：“我们通常不会对市场传闻发表任何评论。”
信实工业在向印度国家证券交易所（National Stock Exchange of India）作出的声明中表示，它不会对《今日商业》在周二发布的报告发表评论。
信实工业在声明中称：“我们无法对媒体的猜测和谣言发表任何评论，我们这样做不合适。我们公司一直在持续评估各种机会。”
信实工业专注于能源、石化、天然气、零售、电信、大众传媒和纺织行业。六月底，该公司宣布计划在未来三年内投资81亿美元，建造太阳能、储能、电解槽和燃料电池超级工厂。计划中的设施包括一家集成光伏组件工厂、一家先进的储能电池工厂、一家生产绿色氢的电解槽工厂和一家将氢能转化为电能的燃料电池工厂。
REC Solar目前的生产能力约为1.8 GW，并计划在法国建造一家4 GW的异质结光伏组件工厂。
