总部位于台湾的笔记本电脑、服务器和移动设备供应商——英业达(Inventec)日前宣布，其拥有47.65%股份的太阳能组件制造商英稳达已向台湾桃园地方法院申请破产。
英业达在发给台湾证券交易所的一份声明中表示，“由于资不抵债，董事会向法院申请宣布破产。”英业达指出负债总额为22亿新台币（合7020万美元）。
公司将英稳达倒闭的主要原因归咎为来自境内外太阳能公司的激烈竞争、欧洲和美国的贸易壁垒，以及新冠疫情的爆发。
英稳达于2020年4月向工业发展局申请劳务纠纷和赔偿责任谈判，要求将其长期和短期贷款的还款期延长一年。 英业达的另一个子公司，太阳能电池制造商益通光能于2019年关闭了其在台湾的太阳能电池生产设施，目前正在清算中。
