菲律宾能源部（DoE）已经公布了符合可再生能源组合标准（RPS）的可运营可再生能源项目名单，该标准规定该国的电力供应商必须从可再生能源发电项目中采购约定的能源供应部分。
该名单包括装机容量总计1312.9MW的62个太阳能项目、装机容量总计412.8MW的36个水电设施、装机容量总计264.8MW的36个生物质计划、装机容量总计409.9MW的7个风电场，以及装机容量总计218.5MW的6个地热发电站。
至于太阳能来源，入选项目的规模从0.21到100.6MW不等。根据该文件，部分发电站已在该国的FIT计划下运行，而其他发电站则计划在电力现货批发市场（WESM）或双边购电协议（PPA）下运行。
根据能源部部长Alfonso Cusi的说法，大约有8.5GW的可再生能源项目参与了这次选择。
根据RPS计划，与可再生能源（RE）开发商签订合同的最低电力水平目前为1%，但能源部目前正在考虑从2023年起提高到2.52%。
国际可再生能源机构最近发布的统计数据显示，到2020年底，根据菲律宾的可再生能源法，该国光伏装机容量为1.04GW。该国的大部分太阳能设施是在旧的长期保护性价制度、拍卖、和净计量计划下落地的。 菲律宾政府还在去年6月启动了2GW的可再生能源拍卖，并总体计划到2030年安装15GW的可再生能源容量。
