该装置占地214平方米，峰值功率为20kW，由70个不同尺寸和形状的晶体硅光伏玻璃组件组成。
该公司在一份声明中透露，“这个项目包括用Onyx Solar的光伏玻璃替换现有的固定式玻璃。除了自己产生清洁能源外，还将使马拉加港务局开始通过过滤来自太阳的有害辐射，大大提升建筑物的内部舒适度，同时改善热传导。”

玻璃组件完全按照客户的需求定制。为了全面更换天窗，还必须使光伏玻璃组件的尺寸适应建筑物的现有结构，具体来说，要提供长方形、三角形和梯矩形的玻璃：长方形玻璃有九种不同的尺寸，从2580×920mm到2700×1320mm不等；三角形玻璃的尺寸为1251×1256mm；最后，梯矩形玻璃甚至达到3459mm和2554mm。
他们选择了一种具有中等透明度的玻璃，让多晶硅太阳能电池之间留有足够空间，使大量自然光进入建筑物。
