印度中央邦将在莫雷纳区的Behrara Mata寺庙附近建造一家1.4 GW的太阳能发电厂。该厂所需的70%左右的土地已经划拨好。据中央邦Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd.董事长Girraj Dandotia透露，这个光伏电站将在一年内投产，每天将产生1.4 GW电力。
目前，中央邦最大的单点太阳能发电厂位于雷瓦区，发电量达750 MW。而这个选址莫雷纳区的太阳能发电厂规模将是雷瓦发电厂的两倍，且将根据太阳能发电园区计划建造。
Dandotia表示：“到目前为止，该区行政部门已经在Kailaras-Pahargarh公路之间Behara Mata寺庙的山上划拨了2000公顷土地。剩余800公顷土地的划拨流程正在进行当中。该厂（约）70%的电力将流向中央邦，30%的电力可以由建立太阳能发电厂的公司自愿提供给任何人。”
