Octopus Energy宣布与美国电动汽车和电池制造商特斯拉建立合作伙伴关系，携手进行服务整合。
根据协议条款规定，Octopus获准在西班牙和英国安装特斯拉家用太阳能电池Powerwall。
而这两个国家的特斯拉Powerwall客户将享受Octopus的一系列智能电价，包括专为灵活响应全天电价而设计的Intelligent Octopus Flux，即在低电价时段对电池充电并在高电价时段出售电力，以支持高峰期电网供电。Octopus表示，这与标准购电和售电电价相比每年可为客户节省250英镑。
特斯拉住宅能源总监Colby Hastings表示，此次整合将在帮助户主实现增值的同时保持最佳产品体验。
Octopus智能公用事业数字化平台Kraken在全球范围内优化了超过60000处分布式能源，包括电池、电动汽车、热泵和大型公用事业规模的太阳能资产。Octopus Energy首席产品和营销官Rebecca Dibb-Simkin补充道：“如今Powerwall已集成至Kraken平台，这将在平衡电网的同时进一步帮助客户节约成本。”
今年早些时候，特斯拉发布了一个应用程序编程接口，方便第三方开发商与其家庭能源产品进行交互。
