法国政府已发布第2024-1023号法令，强制要求面积超过1500平方米的停车场安装太阳能装置。
新规详细说明了如何计算受规则约束的表面积，概述了豁免标准并规定了违规罚款。
面积超过10000平方米的停车场必须在2026年7月1日前安装太阳能车棚，而面积在1500平方米至10000平方米之间的停车场必须在2028年7月2日前完成安装。
新规要求停车场（包括行车道）至少50%的面积必须覆盖遮阳棚或绿色雨棚，且将就违规行为处以每年40000欧元（42160美元）的罚款直到解决为止。
此外，这项法令还修订了地面安装式太阳能装置和可再生能源雨棚的规划许可。
豁免适用于因土壤成分或坡度等技术限制因素导致无法安装太阳能装置的停车场，而且具有高自然、技术或民用安全风险，或处理危险货物的场所也被排除在外。
