英国能源开发商Konexa公司、投资管理企业Climate Fund Managers公司 (CFM)与挪威发展金融机构Norfund在尼日利亚签署了一项发展融资协议。
根据该协议，三家公司将出资在尼日利亚开发一座50 MW太阳能发电厂，新建并加强电网基础设施，这些基础设施将连接尼日利亚啤酒厂的两处发电站。
几位合伙人将共同出资360万美元。欧盟支持的CFM混合融资机构气候投资者壹号基金将出资50%，而Norfund基金和Konexa公司将各出资25%。
根据Konexa公司的一份声明，预计将在今年下半年财务结算时，提供约8000万美元后续资金用于建设。 新项目还将支持Konexa公司继续向尼日利亚更广泛的商业和工业客户推出私人可再生能源交易平台。
“欧盟的早期支持有助于为该项目的第一阶段提供私人资本，我们预计Norfund的催化性资金将为下一阶段建设发挥同样的作用，” CFM非洲地区负责人Darron Johnson表示，“这是一个明显的例子，说明混合融资如何在尼日利亚等新兴市场产生大规模影响，在这些市场，获得电力仍然是一个关键问题。”
