韩国MOTIE已经开始了1 GW太阳能项目的招标。 该部门已公布采购活动的细节，拟议太阳能项目的最高价格为每兆瓦时155,74韩元（合113.6美元）。
该部门表示，考虑到最近的竞标率和光伏发电平准化能源成本的下降，本次招标的最高价格相较去年每兆瓦时157,307韩元的上限价格有所下降。
招标还包括对碳足迹较低的太阳能组件的优惠价格，要求每千瓦的最低碳排放水平为655千克二氧化碳。 去年，MOTIE在类似的采购活动中分配了1 GW的光伏。
今年，政府还计划采购1.25 GW的陆上风电，价格上限为每兆瓦时176,565韩元。
该部门表示，其将为此次招标签订固定合同的太阳能、风能企业和RE100需求企业牵线搭桥，促成两者签订电力购买协议。 根据韩国能源署的数据，韩国在2024年新安装了2.5 GW 的太阳能容量，使其累计光伏装机容量超过29.5 GW。
