中国太阳能公司 Sunrev Solar将在埃及的艾因苏赫纳工业区建造一个生产太阳能组件的综合工业园区，该工业园区是埃及东部苏伊士运河经济区的一部分。
上周，Sunrev Solar公司和埃及政府举行了签字仪式，埃及总理穆斯塔法·马德布利出席了签字仪式。第一阶段将包括两个产能各为2 GW的综合工厂，分别生产太阳能电池和太阳能组件。工厂在上周进行了奠基，预计将于2026年上半年完工。
第二阶段将实现硅锭和硅片等原材料的本土化生产。这两个阶段的建设总面积将达到20万平方米。
该项目的总投资金额估计为2亿美元，使其成为苏伊士运河经济区最大的工业可再生能源投资之一。第一阶段将耗资9000万美元，第二阶段将耗资1.1亿美元。
埃及国家信息服务局表示，该项目将在两个阶段创造1800多个直接就业岗位。建成的综合体每年向区域和国际市场出口的产品预计将产生3亿美元的收入。
Sunrev Solar公司董事总经理何飞表示，公司将带来最先进的太阳能技术，“结合中国的速度和埃及的智慧，有效地实现项目的目标。”
苏伊士运河经济区主席Waleid Gamal El-Dien表示，该项目不仅是一项工业开发，也是一个重要的社会经济里程碑。他补充说：“选择苏赫纳体现了其核心竞争优势，包括它的战略位置、现代化的基础设施、与苏赫纳港的整合，以及（经济特区）提供的激励措施等。”
2024年11月，中国制造商晶澳太阳能与埃及政府签署了一项协议，将在埃及建造两座太阳能制造工厂。该公司正在与当地企业和总部位于阿布扎比的Global South Utilities公司展开合作，对两座产能分别为2 GW的太阳能电池工厂和太阳能组件工厂的建设进行监督。
