南非电力公司Eskom正式宣布启动可再生能源购电计划。
该计划将邀请南非的大型用电企业，与Eskom旗下的可再生能源项目签署购电协议（PPA）。该项目的首轮招标已于上周启动，涵盖291兆瓦的太阳能装机容量。
中标企业将与Eskom签署5年至25年的购电协议，电力将分阶段由多个Eskom项目供应，首个项目预计将在2027年12月实现商业化运营。本轮招标的申请截止日期为9月19日。
根据Eskom发布的声明，此次采购源于此前进行的意向征集活动，期间工业和商业用户表现出强烈兴趣，显示出“市场对直接获取绿色能源的明确需求”。
Eskom集团首席执行官丹·马罗卡内（Dan Marokane）表示，该购电计划是Eskom将更多可再生能源接入电网战略的下一步举措。
“我们看到市场对Eskom绿色能源供应能力的强烈兴趣，而本计划正是这种能力的体现，”马罗卡内补充道，“在执行扭亏为盈战略的一年多时间里，我们不仅致力于结束电力短缺，还在推动Eskom转型为一家可持续且具有竞争力的公司，并通过以客户为中心的方式保障能源供应安全。”
数据显示，南非在2024年新增了1.1吉瓦太阳能装机，此前的2023年是该国太阳能新增容量创纪录的一年。南非已设定目标，每年新增至少3吉瓦可再生能源，到2030年将提升至每年新增5吉瓦。
