EDP Renewables（EDPR）表示，公司将加快昆士兰Punchs Creek可再生能源项目与新南威尔士Merino混合能源项目的开发进度，计划在2030年前建成投运，以符合政府能源转型目标。
位于昆士兰图文巴南部的Punchs Creek项目包含400MW光伏与400MW/1600MWh储能系统（BESS）；位于新南威尔士州Goulburn附近的Merino混合项目则包括450MW光伏与450MW/1800MWh储能设施。
EDPR称，Punchs Creek项目预计将在明年完成融资，并于2029年初投运；Merino项目计划在2026年下半年达到可开工阶段。
这两个项目均入选澳大利亚政府最新一轮容量投资计划（CIS）招标，共有20个项目获批收入担保协议。该机制将在市场电价低于设定下限时提供补偿，并在电价超出上限时共享收益。
EDPR澳大利亚区董事总经理Simon Franklin表示，这一“关键支持”将加速新可再生能源产能的并网。“通过CIS的发电收入保障机制，我们有信心以可持续、高质量的方式加快澳大利亚能源转型。”
项目投运后，Punchs Creek与Merino合计装机容量将包含约150万块光伏组件，占地1600公顷，每年可发出约2.2TWh清洁电力，足以满足约38万户澳大利亚家庭的峰值用电需求。
EDPR表示，项目建设预计将创造逾1600个工作岗位，同时带动周边地区零售和服务业的经济增长。
上述项目是EDPR澳大利亚约4GW开发储备的一部分，涵盖全国30多个城镇级和大型项目。公司在声明中表示，澳大利亚是“具备可再生能源强劲潜力的关键市场”，未来计划到2030年在全国范围内部署超2GW的光伏、风电及储能项目。
