可再生能源开发商Edify Energy已将其位于昆士兰州地区的Smoky Creek和Guthrie’s Gap，以及Ganymirra和Majors Creek太阳能与电池项目的EPC合同，授予Gamuda旗下公司DT Infrastructure。
位于昆士兰州中部比洛伊拉（Biloela）附近、彼此相邻的Smoky Creek和Guthrie’s Gap电站，合计将配置600MW太阳能和600MW/2400MWh电池储能。
位于该州北部汤斯维尔（Townsville）附近开发的Ganymirra和Majors Creek配套电站，则合计包括300MW太阳能和300MW/1200MWh电池储能。
总部位于悉尼、现由加拿大投资集团La Caisse持有的Edify Energy表示，这两个项目都将采用直流耦合混合配置，并使用构网型逆变器技术，以增强电网的稳定性和韧性。
Edify Energy首席执行官本·沃恩（Ben Warne）预计，这些项目将通过采用最先进的太阳能、电池和逆变器技术，为国家电力市场作出重要贡献，以尽可能高效的方式向电网提供稳定且可调度的太阳能电力。
他说：“我们为这些大型发电项目将在推动能源体系迈向更可负担、更可靠、更可持续的未来中发挥的重要作用感到自豪。”他还表示，这些项目也将为当地区域经济注入切实动力。
“这些项目将在建设期间创造大量就业机会，支持当地社区和产业发展，并有助于推进昆士兰州能源系统所需的基础设施建设，这与《昆士兰能源路线图》保持一致。”
尽管主体建设预计将在未来数月内启动，Edify Energy表示，两个项目的前期施工和设计工作已经展开。
该开发商的目标是在2028年实现项目交付并投入运营。
