美国电力巨头NextEra已经宣布，它就是支持晶科太阳能进军美国制造业的神秘合作伙伴。NextEra与晶科签订了4年购买2.75GW太阳能组件的协议，即每年约700兆瓦的供货量。
晶科计划提供约700万块高效太阳能电池板。按此计算，每块面板的平均功率是392瓦，如果是标准尺寸的72电池组件，则其转率效率约为19%。
晶科在佛罗里达州杰克逊维尔的制造设施的年产能为400兆瓦。剩余的产能有可能通过支付关税进口。
这一制造工厂的运营仅需200名员工，这意味着它将运用工业4.0技术。这一技术的推行将带来“黑暗工厂”——大部分时间极少或根本没有照明的工厂，大部分由机器运行。晶科表示，它将 会是全球最先进的太阳能电池板生产设施之一，能为公司提供灵活性及制造能力，以支持公司的当地合作伙伴和不断增长的美国客户群。
