2019年11月，奥地利太阳能支架解决方案制造商Aerocompact开始在印度开展业务。除满足当地市场需求以外，该公司也开始向泰国和马来西亚等中东及东南亚国家出口其在印度制造的产品。
Aerocompact区域经理Mandar Mainde告诉《光伏》杂志，从2020年2月至今，该公司在印度的运营业务已在国内市场提供了7 MW的金属板屋顶支架产品。Mainde表示，公司还计划尽快向越南出口产品。
Aerocompact在印度依照合约制造产品，且已经开始在该国生产平屋顶光伏支架产品。新产品将于明年1月推出。Mainde表示，该公司在印度的运营也有助于满足其欧洲业务的需求，且最终将为其打入美国市场提供支持。
该公司认为，其大部分需求来自工商业领域，尤其是金属板屋顶工厂所有者。据Mainde透露，该公司正在尝试接触工厂所有者和开发商等终端客户。
