该设施业主Solar Generation公司的首席执行官Stanislav Ignatiev说道：“我们的员工已经断开受损组串的连接，现在正为电网提供1.8 MW的绿色清洁电力。”
这座梅列法太阳能发电厂位于哈尔科夫以南30公里处，是该地区最大的工业太阳能发电站。它为哈尔科夫市郊区梅列法提供电力。
“这个项目是一个分布式发电的范例，旨在为一个小镇提供能源。”Ignatiev说道，并指出它采用了325瓦的腾晖光伏组件和27千瓦的Fronius ECO 27.0-3-S组串逆变器。
导弹袭击损坏了416块太阳能电池板以及4个逆变器。
Ignatiev表示：“这种类型的损坏通常是袭击乌克兰太阳能发电厂的火箭弹造成的。应该注意的是，该电站采用地脚螺钉建在沼泽区，因此电站的支撑结构由于导弹袭击而局部受损。”
