Maxeon Solar Technologies位于法国Porcelette的太阳能组件生产工厂已停止生产。
Maxeon于2012年设立Porcelette工厂，且最近已升级该厂来生产其Air屋顶太阳能组件。这些太阳能电池板可以安装在工商业建筑的屋顶上。该公司还从欧盟获得了约500万欧元（490万美元）的资金，并额外筹集到40万欧元的资金，共同用于重新启动这家制造厂，但都不足以维持其运营。

Maxeon表示，该厂因规模太小而缺乏全球竞争力。这是该公司在欧洲的最后一家生产厂，而它早于2021年关闭了位于图卢兹的另一家工厂。从现在起，该集团将通过其他工厂（主要是墨西哥和马来西亚工厂）为欧洲客户提供服务。

该发言人表示：“Maxeon在法国的雇佣人数仍将是Porcelette员工人数的近两倍。”
