法国太阳能开发商Reden Solar宣布，将投资400万欧元（440万美元），在其法国Roquefort总部部署一条新的太阳能组件生产线。
Reden计划在今年年底前将新生产线投产，年产能将达到200 MW。公司目前在Roquefort有条65 MW生产线，自2009年成立以来一直在生产组件。根据Reden的CEO，Thierry Carcel的说法，旧生产线将继续用于小型面板系列和售后服务。
Carcel表示自己生产面板能带来包括确保独立性、避免在30或40 MW小型产品中依赖大制造商等优势。Reden在下游业务方面的专长也带来了自己生产太阳能组件的优势，因为有助于为其符合法国光伏招标的项目或与PPA相关的项目设计盈利计划。
尽管公司生产的新组件可能比亚洲同类产品贵8%，但Carcel认为，客户愿意为“法国制造”、减少碳含量和卓越性能支付溢价。他引用了Reden最近从法国铁路运营商SNCF获得的一份购电协议（PPA），SNCF同意为法国造面板接受高一点的价格。
由澳大利亚金融集团Macquarie Asset Management牵头的企业联盟已同意从法国基础设施公司Infravia和Eurazeo手中收购法国太阳能开发商Reden Solar。
