德国太阳能组件制造商Heckert Solar，光伏产品经销商Wattkraft和欧洲最大的太阳能玻璃制造商Interfloat透露计划在德国若干场地进行垂直集成的太阳能组件生产。
该企业联合体表示其将投资约20亿欧元（21.8亿美元）用于建设生产设施。
由于这笔新投资，Heckert Solar在图林根州朗根韦岑多夫现有工厂的生产力将由400MW增长到2.8GW。此外，该企业联合体将建造一个5GW设施，在Heckert Solar位于德国东部奥德河畔法兰克福的一家工厂生产多晶硅和太阳能电池。
此外，Interfloat正计划在其位于勃兰登堡的工厂之一为组合增值链生产无锑低铁纹理太阳能玻璃。
该企业联合体也表示新的生产设施将生产效率高达24%、且碳足迹低于18克/kWh的玻璃-玻璃组件，据称能满足最高的ESG可持续标准。
