储能供应商Powin已推出一款能量密度更高的电网级磷酸铁锂电池——Pod Max。
这款电池在20英尺的液冷集装箱解决方案中可实现6.26MWh的容量，成为该公司迄今为止能量密度最高的产品，其能量密度较5MWh电池提高了25%。
“Pod Max在相同的成熟外形尺寸中实现了更高的能量密度，使我们客户能够以更低的总拥有成本部署更强大的系统，”Powin首席技术官Himanshu Khurana表示。
Powin表示，这款电池的设计重点是最大限度地缩短现场工作时间，这要求减少单位容量所需的布线和连接。该公司声称，该设计可以加快安装速度，降低维护成本。
Pod Max由Powin的StackOS平台控制，该平台是一个软件套件，将能源管理系统（EMS）、电池管理系统（BMS）和热管理系统（TMS）整合成一个单一控制层。这款电池的远程监控和操作软件可达到电芯级别，在电池性能方面实现了更高的可见性。
Powin的5MWh Pod电池和Pod Max电池都安装在IP55等级的20英尺集装箱内。这些产品均符合UL和IEC标准，且具备模块和集装箱级别的灭火功能。
该公司为这些产品提供20年性能保证以及长期维护服务。
“Pod Max是我们对性能、部署成本和可扩展性进行不懈追求的结晶，”Khurana表示。
Powin表示，Pod电池包含一个美国采购选项，以期符合美国《通胀削减法案》规定的国内含量标准，进而享受更大的税收优惠；还包含一个国际制造选项，以期符合第301条关税规定。
Powin是一家总部位于美国的电池集成商，其在全球范围内已部署和在建的电池容量超过17GWh，所监测的电池单体超过600万个。该公司运营一个全天候远程操作中心，拥有500多名现场服务技术人员和授权服务提供者，能够为已部署的电池提供强大的性能支持。
