法国能源巨头Engie在澳大利亚的分部近日宣布，与澳大利亚能源零售及发电公司AGL签署一项全新的“虚拟电池”金融协议，通过纯金融方式模拟两小时储能系统的运行机制，无须依赖任何具体的电池实体资产。
这份为期五年的“固定虚拟储能协议”（firm virtual storage agreement）将于2027年生效，基于AGL在新南威尔士州的电池储能项目组合，为Engie提供每日储能“充放电”的财务对冲权利。尽管具体容量未公开，但协议允许Engie通过衍生工具灵活模拟电池充放电过程。
Engie澳大利亚能源对接主管Tiburce Blanchy表示：“该协议通过每日金融掉期，模拟两小时的电力买入（放电）与两小时的电力卖出（充电）操作，实现如同实体电池般的运营灵活性。”
他进一步指出：“这意味着我们可以为客户提供稳定的容量服务，完全独立于任何物理储能资产。这不仅是我们在澳大利亚市场的首次尝试，也是一个行业重要里程碑。”
此前，Engie已与法国另一能源企业Neoen达成协议，通过后者位于维多利亚州Geelong附近的300兆瓦/450兆瓦时维州大电池项目，以及位于昆士兰的270兆瓦/540兆瓦时Western Downs电池项目一期获得“虚拟接入权”。不过，Blanchy强调，与AGL签订的协议与前述交易最大不同在于其“完全虚拟化”性质。
“Neoen的交易仍依附于特定资产，而这份协议则完全脱离了实物资产的约束，是我们业务发展史上的重要节点。”Blanchy表示。“该先进的结构将进一步丰富我们的能源管理服务，为澳洲市场的对手方与大型用能企业提供更具弹性的解决方案。”
在澳大利亚能源转型的背景下，“虚拟电池”逐渐获得青睐。此类金融模型让项目开发商能在建设完成前锁定现金流，同时也使能源零售商与大型企业用户无需高昂资本支出即可享受储能所带来的运营与成本优势。
AGL交易与能源对接总经理Simon Sarafian也表示，这一协议将有助于加快公司在储能项目上的布局：“这是金融创新与能源技术协同作用的典范，展现了它们如何共同重塑澳大利亚能源格局。”
随着能源金融工具的不断进化，此类虚拟结构正成为推动低碳能源系统灵活性和效率提升的关键一环。
