葡萄牙集团 MCA 在安哥拉启用了非洲迄今规模最大的离网可再生能源系统——卡宗博光伏电站（Cazombo Photovoltaic Park），该项目包含 75.26MWh电池储能系统 与 25.40MW太阳能发电设施。
该电站是安哥拉首个、也是非洲目前最大的离网可再生能源项目，设计上通过白天光伏发电、夜间电池供电，实现完全不使用化石燃料。
项目将惠及位于该国东部 Moxico Leste省卡宗博市（Cazombo） 的 13.6万名居民。
MCA 在声明中表示，当地长期面临严重电力短缺，而该光储系统的投运将成为“该地区首个主要电力生产与分配来源”，从而推动能源普惠与电网稳定。
该项目是安哥拉“农村电气化计划”下首个落地项目。该计划旨在通过在偏远无电地区建设光伏加储能一体化电站，形成自主供电的微电网系统。
项目融资由 英国渣打银行（Standard Chartered） 提供，德国出口信贷机构 Euler Hermes 提供约 10亿欧元（约1.16亿美元） 担保，并由葡萄牙 Cosec 和韩国 K Sure 共同再保险。
