美国纽约基金Scale Facilitation旗下的澳大利亚初创公司Recharge Industries已完成对Britishvolt资产和业务的收购。Britishvolt于1月份宣布陷入破产管理。
在年初宣告破产之前，Britishvolt曾计划在英格兰北部Cambois建造一座价值47.1亿美元的锂离子电池制造厂。这座拟建的30 GWh工厂预计每年将满负荷生产超过30万块锂离子电池。
目前，Recharge Industries已与Britishvolt管理人达成收购该公司的交易。Recharge Industries从众多竞争者中脱颖而出成为了优先竞标者。有关这宗交易的财务条款尚未公开。
今年1月，Recharge Industries宣布计划在澳大利亚维多利亚州吉隆市建造一座锂离子超级工厂，且预计将在年底前启动项目建设工作。该工厂的目标是在2024年实现2 GWh的年产量，此后再将年储能容量扩充至30 GWh。
