迪拜水电局（DEWA）哈塔抽水蓄能水电站目前已完成总工程量的74%，预计将在2025年上半年投入运营。该设施还将用来储存5 GW穆罕默德·本·拉希德·阿勒马克图姆（Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum）太阳能园区的电力。
