日产公司(Nissan)近日在荷兰最大的体育场，位于阿姆斯特丹的约翰克鲁伊夫竞技场(Johan Cruijff Arena，阿贾克斯足球俱乐部的主场)的一个3兆瓦储能系统投入运营。
这一储能系统结合了伊顿公司(Eaton)的功率转换单元和来自日产公司的148片LEAF电池。它将作为2014年在该体育场屋顶上安装的3兆瓦光伏系统的一个补充。项目资金的三分之二来自阿姆斯特丹气候和能源基金(AKEF)的贷款，剩余部分来自一个私人基金。据保守估计，该项目的投资回报期应低于10年。
这一储能系统将提供备用电源，减少柴油发电机的使用，并通过压平音乐会期间出现的用电高峰来缓解能源电网的压力。项目还包括在该体育场的停车场地安装18个电动汽车(EV)充电桩，目前安装正在进行中。未来两年还将另增200个。
这一项目是《光伏杂志》评选出的顶级商业模式(Top Business Model)获奖作品之一。
