总部位于布里斯班的公用事业级太阳能和储能开发商里昂集团宣布与中国华电集团和日本的Jera达成协议，共同在中国、澳大利亚和亚洲其他地区共同开发具备集成式电池储能系统（BESS）的可再生能源项目。
这两家公司将重点放在中国和另外两个亚洲国家的BESS改造机会上。中国华电还同意通过其子公司，领先的可再生能源EPC服务提供商——中国华电工程公司，在澳大利亚共同开发、购买、融资和建设里昂集团的太阳能电池综合电站。
这份协议还包括计划将长期BESS整合到整个中国以及亚洲其他地区的中国华电的新建及现有项目中。公司希望使用BESS来克服可再生能源发电不稳定的问题，同时避免削减问题并提高现有项目的效率。
里昂集团董事长David Green表示：“中国华电在太阳能和风能开发方面有着宏伟的计划。但他们都经历了不容忽视的削减问题和电网扰动，这表明他们想要建设的可再生能源容量在结合集成式储能后，将在技术上和商业上都带来巨大的益处。”
