总部位于休斯敦的制造商SEG Solar宣布，计划在其总部所在地美国得州休斯敦建设一座新的4吉瓦太阳能组件生产设施。
此次扩张建立在公司现有2吉瓦产能基础之上，预计将使其美国本土总产能提升至约6吉瓦。该厂商业运营计划于2026年第三季度启动。
这座面积为46,4511平方米的工厂投资将超过2亿美元，预计将创造800个就业岗位。公司表示，此举反映出其提升本土化含量并为合作伙伴提供更强可追溯性的战略。
SEG Solar运营副总裁Timothy Johnson表示，这座工厂对公司而言是一个里程碑，并在设计上预留了集成异质结等下一代技术的灵活性，以适应行业演进。
该项目也将推动区域制造热潮进一步升温。得州太阳能组件产量预计将在2026年超过15吉瓦。这种增长得益于有利的监管环境以及该州靠近主要物流枢纽的区位优势。
SEG Solar表示，公司还已被认定为不属于“被禁止的外国实体”，可满足“受关注外国实体”（FEOC）合规要求。对于希望获得联邦税收抵免资格的开发商而言，这是一个关键因素。
除得州扩张外，公司还在印尼建设一座5吉瓦的硅锭和硅片工厂。该项目计划于2026年第二季度开工。待项目完成后，公司将形成涵盖硅锭、硅片和电池片的垂直一体化供应链。
SEG Solar成立于2021年，并表示截至2025年底，其全球组件出货量已超过7.5吉瓦。
