捷克的Solek Group与智利的CarbonFree Chile SpA公司签署了一项框架协议，在智利开发、建设功率范围在3-8兆瓦，总计容量为118兆瓦的光伏项目。这些项目将在智利的PMGD分布式发电方案下开发。
这些项目位于智利首都圣地亚哥250公里的半径以内，第一批项目的建设计划于2018年4季度开始，其中的大部分项目预计将在2019年建成。
双方所签订的框架协议定义了开发的里程碑，Solek将执行项目组合的建设，并负责各个电站的操作和维护。该公司为此购买了SunBrush移动太阳能清洁系统，这一系统使用安装在John Deere拖拉机上的液压刷每天可清洁高达3MWp的设施。
CarbonFree公司目前在3个国家拥有超过85个太阳能项目，总容量超过400兆瓦。除了与Solek集团的投资组合外，CarbonFree在智利运营或在建的PMGD项目超过了30兆瓦，开发中的其他项目超过100兆瓦。
PV Power Chile 在7月底报告称，它已为智利的2个新PMGD项目提交了环境影响报告（EIS）：Parque Solar Los Paltos和El Paso项目，目前智利的环境评估服务机构（SEA）正在对这些项目进行评估。
