尼日利亚软饮料企业Seven-Up Bottling Company承诺在六个月内再安装10.5 MW的太阳能发电容量，由此它将成为该国最大的太阳能工业用户。
今年，总部位于拉各斯的Seven-Up已在其位于卡杜纳州和卡诺州的装瓶厂分别安装了450和990千瓦的太阳能阵列。具体安装工作是由拉各斯工商业光伏安装商Daystar Power完成的。
这家饮料制造商昨日宣布，将在位于阿布贾、拉各斯、伊巴丹和伊洛林的五家工厂再增加10.5 MW容量，以确保每个生产基地都有太阳能电池板。
由于最新安装的五套系统满足了Seven-Up各工厂每日电力需求的一半以上，该公司希望最终太阳能成为其全国各大生产中心日间能源的主要来源。
Daystar昨日发表了一篇关于新增发电容量的新闻稿称，在首次安装1.44 MW太阳能电池板之后，Seven Up节省了高达40%的能源开支。
这家安装商补充道，按照最新合同，Seven-Up的太阳能发电容量将接近12 MW，由此该公司将成为尼日利亚利用太阳能满足其日间能源需求的最大工业用户。
