泰国消费者保护委员会办公室（OCPB）正对劣质太阳能系统安装问题展开调查。
此次调查源于有关设备故障的报告，其中包括出现熔化和烧毁迹象。
OCPB发布的最新通报确认，泰国消费者保护委员会（CPB）目前正在协助17名受劣质或存在危险的太阳能安装影响的业主。这些业主分布在孔敬府、沙拉武里府，以及曼谷吞武里区Tha Phra地区。
在本周稍早由隶属总理办公室的政府部长Supamas Isarabhakdi主持的一次会议上，3名受影响业主提交了有关劣质太阳能安装的证据。他们还表示，安装光伏板后电费并未下降，并补充称，相关太阳能安装商拒绝承担任何责任。
泰国当地媒体报道称，对这些劣质太阳能安装的初步调查发现了多项技术故障，包括使用铝线而非铜线，以及承包商将住宅电力系统从三相擅自改为单相。
OCPB的通报建议，遇到类似问题的消费者可通过热线或线上渠道投诉，并补充称，泰国消费者保护委员会有权提起诉讼。该委员会表示：“相关情形可能构成销售欺骗性商品的违法行为，既可判处监禁，也可处以罚款。”
部长Isarabhakdi已指示CPB将太阳能板安装行业升级为所谓“受监管合同业务”，这将要求所有合同必须明确列出设备标准和技术规格。她还表示，太阳能相关产品应受到专门的标签监管，并呼吁消费者在购买前仔细检查设备。
OCPB的声明还称，政府代表已与泰国工业标准协会、大都会电力局和省电力局等相关方会面，讨论如何加强消费者保护，并防止类似事件再次发生。
