MSEDCL已经开始受理投标书，拟在印度马哈拉施特拉邦建立总容量为600 MWh （300 MW x 2小时）且可连接至印度国家电网的独立BESS项目。
该BESS项目的总容量为600 MWh，将采用电子招标，最小投标规模为100 MWh，投标结束后将进行电子反向拍卖。
MSEDCL选定的开发商将建造、拥有和运营该电池储能系统（BESS），为公用事业公司提供按需充电和放电服务。每个系统每天可进行一次完整的充放电循环。
MSEDCL将与中标者签署BESPA，以确保存储容量。
BESS组件将从MSEDCL获取电力进行充电，并根据SLDC与MSEDCL协调发布的调度指令将电力返还至电网。考虑到协议规定的最低系统效率，电力公司将提供充电所需的电力。
MSEDCL已经确定了BESS项目的地点。
