据墨西哥太阳能协会Asolmex透露，国内累计装机容量今年增长了2%，从12月底的3,075兆瓦增加到4,057兆瓦。
“墨西哥被称为太阳能的全球参与者，”Asolmex总裁Hector Olea说，“而且是最具竞争力和活力的一个。持续增长有助于满足国内对电力的需求，如今年增长率已超过3%。”
截至12月底，国内有11个州的38个大型太阳能发电厂投入了商业运营。仅仅五个多月内就有44个太阳能园区在14个州投入运营，总装机容量为3,364兆瓦，占大规模发电量的34%。
协会补充说，这意味着迄今为止总太阳能产能投资超过65亿美元，共创造工作岗位超过50,000个，这有助于电厂所在区域的地区发展。
发展的屋顶光伏
至于分布式发电，截至12月底，全国共有85,000份净计量合同，总装机容量为570兆瓦。如今运转中的太阳能屋顶共94,893个，相当于693兆瓦的容量，在不到六个月的时间内增长了22%。
这个太阳能机构表示，分布式发电已实现超过18亿美元的直接投资，并在价值链中创造了6000多个就业岗位，这使该技术成为墨西哥最成功且最具竞争力的光伏技术之一。
Olea表示，“太阳能行业正在步入正轨，巩固自己在清洁发电组合中增长最快技术的地位，这有助于提高墨西哥在能源方面的安全性和可持续性。”
