法国能源公司Engie的子公司Engie Energía Chile，已开始运营其在智利最大的太阳能园区Coya。该发电站位于安托法加斯塔省的María Elena。
该设施由369432块光伏板组成，配备以色列公司Ecoppia的机器人清洁系统。该发电站将输电至国家电力系统（SEN），为73000个家庭供电。该公司目前还在建造一个638 MWh的电池储能系统，即BESS Coya项目。
Engie Chile的CEO Rosaline Corinthien说：“通过获得Coya太阳能发电站的COD，我们转型计划的第一阶段已经完成，太阳能和风能发电站为系统增加了约800 MW可再生能源……现在开始第二阶段，包括为项目的发展增加新技术，就像储能系统。”
Engie最近将88 MW的Capricornio阵列和114 MW的Tamaya太阳能发电站连接到SEN。
